Ghost Installer Studio 4.7 released!

New release of Ghost Installer is here. Apart from several bugfixes (including corrected Windows Vista manifest), new version has several new features:
* Visual Studio 2008 are now supported by the wizards
* Multiple .Net assemblies can be added in one operation
* Added support for Windows Server 2008

NOTE: If your application is installed into Program Files or the installation performs other operations that cannot be done from a limited user account, you have to set "Administrative rights are required..." flag in Project Settings > Miscellaneous.

New version of Ghost Installer Studio has been released.

As mentioned before on the community forums, Ghost Installer Studio 4.6 supports Visual Studio 2005 projects, Windows Vista settings for OSVersion and SupportedOS variables have been added. The new 4.6 also contains several minor Engine and CustomUI bugfixes.

New version - Ghost Installer 4.5.1

Some of our customers wrote to Support Service complaining that Ghost Installer Studio doesn't start when Internet Explorer 7.0 Release Candidate 1 is installed. We were working on this issue, fixed the problem and decided to release an update. Ghost Installer 4.51 also contains other bugfixes and small new features that were implemented thanks to your feedback.
As for the IE7 RC1 bug, it appeared that the bug was in WebDeploy plug-in, all installations that use this plug-in must be rebuilt using Ghost Installer 4.5.1.

New article is available - Creating patches and updates

Many of our customers are interested in creating patches or updates for their software. Of course, Ghost Installer is capable of creating updates, but this ability is not "on the surface". New article describes how to create updates, what problems may occur and how they can be solved. Examples are also attached.

New version of Ghost Installer is now available! Following the demands of our users, Ghost Installer Studio 4.5 now features ODBC manager (Enterprise edition only), NT services manager (Professional and Enterprise editions), installation of 64-bit binary files and COM-servers, additional scripting functions ClearFolder, DeleteRegKey and DeleteRegParam.
